Curing middle school boredom

The cold mourning air hurt my nose, and the wind pierced my thick jacket. My group of middle school friends where playing in the small field at our school. Soon we got bored and the thought of causing trouble became a topic of conversation. First it was a joke, but the details everyone added to each thought made the end result resembled more of an action plan than a joke. Soon one of the people in the group insisted on pocketing something from the school book faire. Soon everyone was on board with the idea. Everyone accept part of me. I knew it was wrong and I knew I would regret it later, but my Boredom was hungry to be relieved so I went through with it. We didn’t get caught witch almost made my guilt worse. It wasn't peer pressure that pushed me to do it. I think my reasoning was to break the ritual and mundane cycle of life and do something different even if it was unjust.
