my camp friends and I were having a reunion. we were sitting on top of a parking lot, listening to music, reminiscing on camp and talking about how good of a time it was. I had missed them so much, an unbelievable amount, and It was just so good to be back with at least some of them. one of my favorite people that went to the camp with me had said a few days before that her parents weren't letting her come to our reunion, because she had been traveling a lot. she was very serious about it, almost crying on phone, because she expressed how left out she was gonna feel and how much she missed everyone else. the way we were meeting was split up into two groups. me and 5 other friends who had met at ones house, were sitting on the parking lot roof waiting for the other 4, who were supposed to get there 2 hours prior, to meet. we had been waiting much longer than we were supposed to, as we thought they were just picking up one person and leaving and coming asap to meet us. 2 hours go by, they say that they're waiting for one of their brothers to bring them, we believed it. they finally get here, and we greet them at the elevators and walk back to where we were sitting. one of the people that just arrived says "who's that in the distance?" lo and behold, its the one person who had said they couldn't come- there, with us, in the flesh for the first time In a while. it was totally surprising and I exploded with joy. one of my happiest moments.
