Very hot summer afternoon at the daycare

I'm about 10 years old, the kids around me are all 2 or 3 years younger, only a few kids there are my age. We're all wearing shorts and bikinis, they're gonna try to cool us down in this unbearable heat with a water hose. Then, they come up with a fun idea, that was in reality kind of dumb. There's a big metal slide in the yard, which has been sitting in the sun for the whole extent of this 35+ degrees celsius afternoon, they're gonna throw water on it and have all the kids slide down it, fun times. We all line up, I'm very excited for my turn, I'm already climbing up the slide even before the girl on top of it has gone down, I'm now on top of the slide directly behind her. She's taking her sweet, sweet time up there, afraid of the slide's very gentle drop, I think it's been more than a minute by now, everyone's telling her to go, cheering her on for a bit. I'm getting impatient but they tell me to wait. I push her with both of my hands, she slides down and reaches the bottom safely on her two feet, she might have made that terrible sound of your thighs grinding on a burning metal surface on her very slow way down, but it's nothing, she's fine. She starts crying very damn loud. This girl is the daycare's owner's daughter, they yell at me a hell of a lot and leave me inside as punishment.
