A dream at the swimming pool, early elementary age
At the time, I was in a lot of swimming classes. I hated putting my head underwater, it freaked me out and made me get violently upset. At the time, I did not realize I was dreaming. I was at the swimming pool. I had the same blonde highschooler instructor as I did in the waking world, and I hated her just as much. She had thrown one of those colored rings in the water, so I dove to get it. Despite the fact that in the waking world I could never manage to get the rings (Or see underwater.), I swam down with complete clarity and vision. I grabbed the ring angrily and swam back up, handing it to her. Next was diving practice. I stood on the board as all the other kids dove underwater. I didn't though. I instead ran as fast as I could off the board, down the pool-side, and over to the parental bleachers. Unanimously, all the parents stuck their hand out for me to half-five them with. I did so and ran straight out the door. That's where the dream ended. It took me a long time to figure out that was a dream.
