My mom and I haven’t been getting along the best the past few years. I am the second child of four, and I’m the first daughter. I feel like there is an unfair pressure on me to be perfect that my other siblings don’t experience whatsoever. Whenever I have a job, my mom says it’s not good enough. Then when I leave, she says I need a job. And so on. It’s always that I could be doing more, even when I feel like I’m hanging on by a thread and just trying to make it through the week. I’m 25, I can’t afford to move out, I’m 30,000 in debt from state college loans and my car that I’m financing, and I just feel like I’m never going to break out of the cycle. I didn’t even finish college because it was during COVID and I couldn’t take all the tension in the classrooms. Everything was so political and high strung. I feel like college is a scam and I never should have went, now I owe money for it. And then there’s my relationship. My boyfriend and I’s exes cheated on us both with each other and are now together. Him and I met months later, and we were like omg our exes are dating. Lol. My bf’s ex is a psychotic domestic violence abuser stalker, and has been trying to frame him and put him in jail. Everyone thinks we’re crazy, police officers don’t listen or care, because the girl’s father is a police officer. The sargeant actually. And she has been harassing me. And we lost our jobs cause our bosses don’t want to deal with our stalker. So yeah. I feel emotionally trapped.
